About NFC Bulls NPL

In December 2020 Northbridge FC announced an agreement with then newly established A-League club Macarthur FC for the 2021 Football NSW National Premier Leagues (NPL) season and beyond.

The agreement sees the Northbridge FC NPL program join forces with Macarthur FC to form what will become one of the strongest football Academy’s in NSW, playing under the name the Northbridge FC Bulls.  It will see the Boys and Men continue to compete in the NPL with the Girls and Women competing in NPL2.

Our Northbridge FC Bulls Boys teams compete in the Football NSW NPL Youth Tier 1 competition, participating in the U13, U14, U15, U16 and U18 age groups.
Our Northbridge FC Bulls Senior Men’s teams compete in the Football NSW NPL1 U20 and 1st Grade competitions, utilising players aged predominantly between 17 and 21.

The Northbridge FC Bulls program offers players:

  1. The opportunity to achieve their personal goals while in a team environment
  2. A focus on the individual player development
  3. A genuine player welfare program and monitoring
  4. Regular individual and team reporting and assessment
  5. The opportunities to take on more responsibilities and leadership roles
  6. Players can take advantage of additional training and development opportunities
  7. Challenges through playing up age groups
  8. Additional A-League technical guidance.

At the Northbridge FC Bulls we link up with the best coaches across NSW, coaches who have worked at the very top level. Our coaches work together to offer a consistent program as players move through the age groups and into senior football.

Recruitment for the teams involves a process of talent identification in NPL/WNPL 1 and 2 fixtures throughout the season. A database of targeted players is developed and a number of identified players are then contacted. Should we not complete our squads prior to the Trial Window as scheduled by Football NSW (usually at the beginning of October), we will host trials at that time.
