The four positions currently available include:

The club secretary is primarily responsible for the administration duties and provides the coordinating link between member, the committee and various stakeholders. This is a voluntary position with a time commitment of approximately 2hrs per week and monthly general committee meetings.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Establish a meeting schedule for General and Executive Committees for the current year.
  • Provide secretarial support to the committee, including preparing agendas in consultation with the President.
  • Prepare minutes of all committee and General Meetings of the club, distribute them in accordance with the club’s Constitution and file appropriately.
  • Collate and arrange for the printing of the annual report.
  • Prepare a comprehensive report of all activities of the club for presentation to members at the AGM.
  • Maintain registers of members’ details plus life members.
  • Be/beome familiar with the roles of the Club, Competition, and any other body that has governance. Give advice to the President and committee as required.
  • Receive all correspondence directed to the club, inform President, react, follow up and distribute to appropriate members.
  • Ensure all licenses required by the club are current.
  • Act as the Public Officer of the club
  • Complete annual statements as required by the Incorporations Act.

The purpose of this role is to be a voice for NBFC’s development level football within the NSFA. This role is important to ensure the successful management of the teams and welfare of the players in the Development (Super League, Diamond League, SAP League and Sapphire Leagues). This is a voluntary position with a time commitment of approximately 2hrs per week and monthly general committee meetings.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Act as a liaison officer between the club and the teams within Northbridge Academy
  • Liaise with Academy Age Group managers to ensure all are informed of schedules and competition administration
  • Support the Football Development Manager and NBFC Technical Director to manage the schedule
  • Be an advocate of Academy teams at the general committee and with NSFA regarding competition grading and schedules
  • Attend to administration matters as directed by the Secretary and Administration Support Staff.
  • Be a point of information and welcome for community team contributors’ players, members, parents, coaches and supporters
  • Ensure age groups Managers are made aware of procedures for submission of team sheets and match cards as required by NSFA protocol.

The purpose of this role is to be the advocate of grass roots community football junior teams.  As a community club, this role is an integral part of the General Committee, so the role holder, will have a key voice in decisions and events throughout the season. This is a voluntary position with a time commitment of approximately 2hrs per week and monthly general committee meetings.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Be an advocate of Academy teams at the general committee and with NSFA regarding competition grading and schedules
  • Act as a liaison officer between the club and the community teams within Northbridge Football Club
  • Support the Football Development Manager to manage the schedule
  • Set event schedules and work with event coordinators to ensure community team coordinators are communicated to in a timely manner
  • Be a point of information and welcome for community team contributors players, members, parents, coaches and supporters.
  • Ensure age groups managers know where to find competition and training information as required by NSFA protocol.

The purpose of this role is to enable and empower individuals and the club, through the various communications channels, marketing activity and media, to build a proud community connection and a sustainably progressive club through the Northbridge FC tone and voice. This role is an integral part of the General Committee, so the role holder, will have a key voice in decisions and events throughout the season. This is a voluntary position with a time commitment of approximately 2hrs per week and monthly general committee meetings.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop, plan and implement the strategic marketing plan for the Northbridge Football Club
  • Coordinate the marketing and media activity as needed across campaigns, programs and other essential club activity
  • Liaise with media channel (Web, Newsletter, Social Media) volunteers to ensure delivery of marketing and media activity
  • Ensure consistency is achieved in the positioning of the Northbridge FC brand.
  • Liaise with Sponsorship Manager to ensure sponsors brand and messages are being included across media channels and any other opportunities
  • Through activity foster strong connection with the community including schools, volunteers and business partnerships
