U6 Come and Try Session 22nd Feb & 1 Mar
We’re excited to invite Kindergarten Kids – to our U6 Come and Try Session.
Date: Sunday, 22nd Feb and Sunday, 1st March.
Field: Bales Park (Stanley St, Chatswood)
Time: between 2pm – 5pm for a 1 hour session
What is a Come and Try Session
An opportunity to play a practice U6 soccer game to see if they would be keen to play in a team for the winter season. Come as a team or as an individual.
Northbridge FC personnel will be on hand to guide you through the session and answer any questions, ensuring you know exactly what to do.
Parental Involvement
Each team must provide a game leader for every match during the season. The Come and Try session will also serve as a practice opportunity for this role.
A game leader keeps the game moving smoothly, minimizes stoppages and assists with match restarts. Rather than strictly enforcing the rules, they guide players in understanding how to play the game. For more details, please refer to the Game Leaders Handbook and U6 Rules.
What to Bring
- Players should wear sports clothing, shin pads and football boots (or runners will be fine).
- Team whistles for the game leaders
