FEMALE FOOTBALL WEEK (FFW) IS HERE, Friday 3rd to Sunday 12th May
Northbridge FC is excited to celebrate Female Football Week with fun team activities and a Free Girls Only Skills Session. Information can be found below, but also look out for updates on our Social Media platforms.
FREE Girls Only Skills Session – Friday 10th May, 4:00-5:00pm at Northbridge Oval
This session is open to all girls, and we encourage Northbridge girls to attend – and to bring along their girlfriends, who might not be playing football (yet). The session will be suitable for all girls no matter their football experience – the emphasis will be on fun and the aim will be to show that football is for everyone!
As an added bonus we will have A League Women’s stars Maddie Caspers (Sydney FC) & Holly Caspers (Western Sydney Wanderers) in attendance. Maddie & Holly are Northbridge FC juniors, and it has been fantastic to see them both shine in the Women’s A League this season.
The session will be run by Trudy Simmons, Young Matilda’s & Northbridge FC Goalkeeper Coach, as well as some of our up-and-coming Female Coaching talent, so make sure to not miss this one!

SILLY SOCKS TRAININGS – Week Monday 6th to Friday 10th May
Wear your most silly socks to training during Female Football Week (next week). Take silly sock photos! Post them on your socials and tag us or send them to info@northbridgefc.com.au and we will post a selection on our social media during and after FFW! You can even wear your silly socks to the Skills Clinic!
PURPLE HAIR RIBBON ROUND – Sunday 12th May
Purple is the colour of Female Football Week, so we encourage all players to wear purple hair ribbons to celebrate all things female football for your games on Sunday 12th May.
