U18B Match Report 10th June versus Asquith

Northbridge 18B Resolve enjoyed a 5-1 win versus a strong Asquith team last Friday night at NBO.

Leading 2-1 but with the wind behind us near half time, Charlie Bickerstaff scored a blinding second goal (part of his hattrick).  Sol Adamcewicz took the ball forward on the left into the north-eastern corner of the oval where he was well dispossessed.   Not deterred, Sol did a spectacular all-ball tackle on the Asquith right back, jumped up to grab the now loose ball to fire it to Charlie on the edge of the six yard box. Charlie took the ball on the right foot and rotated 270° anticlockwise and then tapped the ball twice across the face to open up a shot for 3-1 at halftime. 

Both Charlie and Sol then scored in the second half in a great victory.
